SynBio Arabia (SynBioAr) is an initiative dedicated to promoting synthetic biology and building a synthetic biology community among Arabic speakers. We aim to build a robust researchers network, educate students, raise awareness, and foster effective collaborations and partnerships.
We conduct this through meetups, educational workshops, blogs, professional events, and a one-of-its-kind newsletter, all in Arabic.
SynBio Arabia was founded in 2020 by Youssef Abdelmaksoud as a part of the iGEM ambassadors program.
